Tikhanovskaya also spoke about the trials of journalists, railway partisans, activists and human rights defenders and emphasized that it is very important to provide maximum assistance to the repressed and human rights defenders.

Tsikhanovskaya noted in the conversation that many Belarusians may be left without Belarusian passports, and asked to assist Belarusians in obtaining temporary documents on the territory of the European Union.

Tsikhanovskaya and de Cro discussed the possible participation of representatives of Belarus in the summit of the European political community in June in Chisinau.

The Prime Minister noted that it is very important to keep Belarus high on the agenda, and agreed that a discussion should be held among European leaders to develop a common strategy for Belarus.

As Tsikhanovskaya's press service reported, she asked the Luxembourg leadership to pay attention to conditions in prisons and new detentions in Belarus, to make efforts to release political prisoners.

She also asked Luxembourg to consider the issue of assistance to the repressed and their families.

The Prime Minister of Luxembourg has been actively speaking about Belarus since the beginning of the events of 2020.
