31-year-old Australian bride

Camille Liskay

got married in November 2022, but for the ceremony she decided not to choose a traditional white dress, but an outfit in a soft pink shade from the Australian brand couture+love+madness.

She first saw a similar dress on Instagram, fell in love with it and realized that she wanted to get married in it.

The dress was custom made for the bride for 6,500 Australian dollars, which is about 4,400 US dollars.

The bride's dress was on one shoulder, the single wide strap was decorated with a huge bow, and the skirt with a train was embroidered with ruffles that gave it volume and resembled flowers.

She complemented the image with earrings, a bouquet and a very elegant hairstyle.

The girl chose pink because she loves it very much, wears it often, and as she says: "It is the biggest part of my personality."

At the same time, the guests did not know what dress she chose, and even more so, what color it was.

Before the wedding, the bride asked all the guests to come to the event in white, but did not explain why.

In this way, she wanted to surprise everyone.

A few days after the wedding, a happy Kamil posted a video from the event on TikTok, where at that time she had about 300 followers.

In the short video, the girl appears for the first time in a pink wedding dress in front of her friends and mother, and they are delighted with the bride's original choice.

"I'm not a particularly traditional person, so while I understand why people want to get married in a more traditional wedding outfit, I don't think I'd want to wear anything else. I broke the norm by asking my guests to wear white, and my wedding day was phenomenal - I had the best day and I loved my dress," she said in an essay published by Insider.

However, literally within a day, the video became viral and many users of the social network began to write insulting messages to the bride in the comments because of her dress, but especially because of its color.

People wrote to the girl that her dress was ugly, that they hated her image, and also compared her outfit to a roll of toilet paper.

"I was confused by the comments because I just didn't expect it to go viral. I'm not an influencer and I don't understand why so many people care about what dress I'm wearing or why they think it's so controversial. I didn't want these comments bothered me because I love my dress and I didn't want this ordeal to change my attitude towards it," Camille said.

Looking through the comments, the girl noticed that many of them were written under fake accounts.

However, she did not want to endure the attacks and decided to answer the trolls.

Camille and her friends took screenshots of the offensive comments as people started deleting them after her reaction, and then recorded a video where she and her friends read some.
