At the meeting of the Presidium of ANAS held on January 18, a decision was made to establish the "Electronic Academy" department within the structure of the Presidium's apparatus.

President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbayli, speaking on the issue, said that at the meeting of the Presidium held on January 16, the names of a number of departments were changed in the structure of the apparatus, and steps were taken to meet modern requirements and new challenges.

The head of ANAS noted that the process of digital transformations and the creation of electronic resources is gaining momentum in the modern world.

In particular, in the context of the challenges of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the application of artificial intelligence technologies, digital transformations constitute one of the important directions of the state policy implemented in our country in accordance with the challenges of the modern world.

Academician Isa Habibbayli said that at the same time, important works are being carried out in our country in terms of the formation of electronic state and electronic government resources, and the application of new management technologies and systems.

In this regard, the head of ANAS pointed out that processes such as electronic signature, electronic document circulation, automation of clerical services are also widely used.

At the meeting, the creation of an electronic circulation system of documents in the apparatus of the Presidium of ANAS, expanding the possibilities of using information technologies in science and management, ensuring cyber security, etc., were discussed at the meeting.

In order to ensure the implementation of the measures related to the project, it was decided to establish the "Electronic Academy" department in the structure of the Presidium of ANAS without the need for additional financial resources and staff.
