[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] The Taipei Symphony Orchestra (TSO)'s 13th Rising Star Winners Concert will be held in the Zhongshan Hall on the evening of February 18. Lin Pinhong, the three winning soloists this year , Zhao Yitian and Lu Zhijun acted as piano soloists, and performed together with Zhang Zhiyuan, assistant conductor of Beishijiao.

Beishijiao said that TSO Tomorrow Star has always been the first step for young musicians to become professional soloists, and has also discovered many outstanding young musicians.

This year's selection project is piano. The three young winners showed extremely high talent and skills and excellent stability during the selection process. Their musical expressiveness impressed all the judges.

Among them, 22-year-old Lin Pinhong is currently studying in the fourth grade of the Music Department of National Taiwan Normal University, under the teacher of Professor Xin Xingchun.

Won the second place in the Philadelphia International Piano Competition, the champion of the Normal University Concerto Competition, the third runner-up in the Xinyi Piano Competition, and other honors. He also collaborated with the composer Deng Yaosheng to create the electro-acoustic music work "Wanhuaqin", which was published in Taiwan Contemporary Culture Experimental Center C -Lab Sound Walk Music Festival.

This time he will perform Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 2 in B flat major in the concert.

Zhao Yitian, who is also studying in the Music Department of National Taiwan Normal University, is currently a sophomore. She is taught by Professor Ye Mengru. Piano Concerto No. 3"; it is worth mentioning that during the selection process of the live performance, Lin Pinhong and Zhao Yitian acted as each other's piano concertos, showing the amazing endurance of the two performers, and finally both were selected as the winners.

The youngest winner this time is 16-year-old Lu Zhijun, who is currently studying in the second grade of the music class of the high school attached to the Normal University, majoring in piano, and tutored by Professor Zhong Xiaoqing.

He won first place in the Taipei International Piano Competition and third place in the final of the Steinway Youth Competition.

In this concert, he will perform Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 in C Minor.
