The King and Queen recently hosted a private dinner at their Clarence House residence, and according to the Daily Mail, guests were surprised by the monarch's decision not to confront his youngest son Harry's claims.

In the face of numerous slanders, indiscretions and provocations, Charles betrayed one of his main weaknesses: a constitutional unwillingness to solve personal problems face to face.

Rather than fight for an important principle, as Charles revealed to his guests, he prefers to avoid a fierce battle.

Palace sources suggest that the king may ignore all the words of Prince Harry and seek reconciliation with his son and his wife Meghan Markle.

And this shocks the British monarchists, the electorate that makes up the vast majority of subjects of King Charles III.

The very idea that he might succumb to pressure from his youngest son shows that Buckingham Palace fears they are losing control of the situation.

It is known that Prince Harry deleted more than half of the frankness from his debut book and did it, apparently, in order not to finally break ties with his family.

And at the same time, the prince seemed to hint that if steps are not taken by his father, 400 more pages of various revelations and scathing accusations may be published in the future.

Most likely, it can be about the infidelity of Charles as Diana's husband and about personal relationships in the family.

In addition, King Charles's resolve is also weakened by guilt.

He realizes that after Diana's death, he has been anything but the supportive father he should have been.
