Previously, the WHO recommended 13 days of quarantine for those sick with covid and 10 for those infected with coronavirus who do not have symptoms.

The organization also advises patients to undergo antigen tests to find out if the infection has passed and to shorten the time of isolation.

The WHO based its recommendations on 12 studies in which over 3,000 people took part.

Despite these guidelines, each country decides on its own measures related to covid.
