"Today there are still facts of illegal fishing"

APA reports that Firuddin Aliyev, head of the Biological Diversity Protection Service, said this.

He said that only according to the results of recent raids, it is observed that such cases have decreased:

"In the first days of this year, 4 facts related to hunting in illegal areas and 3 facts related to fishing were discovered: "A fine was imposed on them.

Also, in the last month of last year and in the first week of this year, up to 5,000 meters of synthetic nets were confiscated."

He also noted that the hunting season for waterfowl continues this year:

"The process will continue until March. In the continuation of the counting process, the issue of listing the Dagestan tour as a hunting object will be known. As a result of the counting of animals, hunting limits are opened. Citizens who comply with this are issued licenses. There is a difference between hunting waterfowl and hunting other species of animals. Each animal hunting takes place on different dates. Hunting of animals listed in the "Red Book" is prohibited. Hunting animals exceeding the limit specified in the allocated license is prohibited and is a violation of the rules.
