With the new decree and order signed by President Ilham Aliyev, scholarships for students and doctoral students have been increased.

APA reports that this was stated by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Karimov.

According to him, with the new Decree, the amount of the Presidential scholarship for higher school students has been increased to 275 manats from January 1, 2023.

He noted that with the new Decree of the head of state, the amounts of scholarships given to doctoral students, higher education, secondary and vocational education institutions, as well as students studying at the master's level of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences at the expense of the state budget from January 1, 2023:

• At the doctoral level:

- for doctoral students on the preparation of the doctor of sciences - 400 manats,

- for doctoral students on the preparation of the doctor of philosophy - 240 manats.

• In higher educational institutions and Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences:

- for students with academic indicators at the master's level

- 91-100 points - 195 manats,

- for students with 71-100 points - 160 manats,

- for students with 51-100 points - 110 delivered to manat;

- for undergraduate academic indicators

- for students with 91-100 points - 175 manats,

- for students with 71-100 points - 145 manats,

- for students with 51-100 points - 100 manats;

• Academic indicators in secondary specialized educational institutions:

- for students with 91-100 points - 100 manats,

- for students with 71-100 points - 80 manats,

- for students with 51-100 points - 66 manats;

• Academic indicators in vocational education institutions:

- for students with "5" (91-100 points at the level of higher technical vocational education) - 100 manats,

- students with "4" and "5" (71-100 points at the level of higher technical vocational education) for - 80 manats,

- for students with "3" - "5" (51-100 points at the level of higher technical vocational education) - 66 manats.

Anar Karimov said that these increases cover up to 150,000 doctoral students and students in total.
