The Ministry of Internal Affairs has carried out a series of operations against the employees of the General Organized Crime Agency (GACA) against those who illegally keep firearms and ammunition, as well as those who are engaged in the sale of drugs.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 13 kilograms of drugs, 1 Makarov pistol, 1 Kalashnikov machine gun, 2 hunting rifles, 32 cartridges and 2 cartridge combs were removed from illegal circulation.

During the events, Abdulla Yolbarsov and Elvin Mustafayev were detained because they were carrying firearms, and Ismayil Aliyev was detained because he was suspected of selling drugs.

Abdulla Yolbarsov and Elvin Mustafayev were found and seized 1 "Makarov" brand pistol, a comb belonging to that weapon, 7 cartridges, 1 hunting rifle with its barrel and case cut off.

A total of 13 kilograms of narcotic drug heroin packed in 6 parcels was found from Ismayil Aliyev.

In addition, 1 "Kalashnikov" machine gun and 1 hunting rifle were discovered by the employees of the General Administration.

In connection with the mentioned facts, criminal cases have been initiated under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code.

Arrest measures have been selected for the persons whose names are listed.

Operative-investigative measures are being continued.
