Chen Mingren said that after the implementation of the Disaster Insurance Law, every occupational accident worker can receive proper care and assistance from injury diagnosis and treatment, medical rehabilitation to functional rehabilitation.

He thanked Chung Ho Memorial Hospital affiliated to Kaohsiung Medical University for supporting the opening of clinics at Huimin Hospital, jointly improving the capacity of occupational medical diagnosis and treatment in the outlying islands, making the medical service network reach deep into the outlying islands of Penghu, and becoming the strongest backer for laborers.

Although Huimin Hospital claims to have comprehensive rehabilitation professionals for all ages, including functional, physical, psychological, and speech therapists, etc., it has no emergency room and intensive care unit, and cooperates with Kaohsiung Medical University Affiliated Zhonghe Hospital. In contrast, Kinmen Lianjiang County and Lianjiang County are both taken over by the Ministry of Health and Welfare Hospital, and supported by Taipei Veterans General Hospital, National Taiwan University and other hospitals.
