[Reporter Yang Xinhui/Taipei Report] "Fitzwilliam Harpsichord Music Festival" opened in Yuxi, Caoshan, Yangmingshan on January 8. The world-renowned Dutch harpsichordist Peter Jan.

Leading by Pieter-Jan Belder, he performed the classic Elizabethan manuscript "Fitzwilliam's Piano Book" with Taiwanese and Japanese harpsichordists.

This is the first harpsichord music festival in Taiwan. From January 11th to January 14th, a series of recitals and lectures will be held at the Art Center of National Taiwan University from January 11th to January 14th.

Xu Shuyao, the planner of the music festival, said that the main idea of ​​the music festival is to let the audience experience and understand the beauty of Renaissance keyboard music in "Fitzwilliam's Piano Book" from multiple perspectives. In addition to the Grass Mountain and Yuxi held by the National Taiwan University this week, the design of the events held at National Taiwan University is more diverse, including January 11 (Wednesday) by Yang.

Baird performed "Chiaroscuro of Brightness and Darkness" in cooperation with the twilight ancient music group, a 16th-century chamber music; on January 12 (Thursday), Xu Shuyao gave a lecture on "What is a virgin? The most exciting finale event is a full-day marathon performance on January 14 (Saturday), including harpsichordists Xu Shuyao, Cai Jiaxuan, and Yang.

The festival will use 4 antique keyboard instruments, so that the audience can experience the timbre of different instruments at the same time.
