Starting from yesterday, it started to snow heavily in the western region of Azerbaijan.

According to the information of the local office of APA, along with mountainous areas, Ganja, Shamkir and other cities and regions are also covered in white snow.

There were difficulties in the movement of cars on the roads due to ice blocking of the roads.

Therefore, traffic accidents occurred in many areas.

"VAZ 2107" car collided with a "FORD" medium-tonnage car at the exit from the Gazakh district of Ganja, in the "Airport road" section.

The cause of the accident was improper use of brakes by one of the vehicles in icy conditions.

Another incident happened at the intersection of MC Pashayev Street and A. Sur Street, near school No. 13.

A passenger bus going down the street crashed into an electric pole on the side of the road as a result of a slide.

Fortunately, cars were damaged in both incidents, but no one was injured.

Both facts are under investigation.
