[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] Photographer Shen Zhaoliang was invited to hold a solo exhibition at the Sky Art Gallery of Luodong Cultural Factory in Yilan, presenting more than 30 works in two series of "Image‧Southern Australia" and "STAGE" (stage car) on two axes. The continuous accumulation and selection review of the long creative journey over the years, including the rearrangement and compilation of early, unpublished and newly shot works, in addition to reproducing the 16-component works of "STAGE" exhibited at 21_21 Art Museum (Design Sight) in Roppongi, Tokyo in 2018, and more On the evening of the 13th, the opening night of the debut of the physical stage car will be held.

The two main axes of this exhibition can be said to be the most distinctive feature of Shen Zhaoliang's creation, that is, the display of land and humanistic care.

Among them, Nanfang'ao Fishing Port is one of the three largest fishing ports in Taiwan, and it is also an important base for ocean-going fisheries in Yilan County. The exhibition of "Reflections‧Nanfang'ao" (1995-2018) in Yilan is also Shen Zhaoliang's return to Taiwan after studying in Japan. The first classical documentary work to go to the community.

When there was no National Highway No. 5, it took 7 or 8 hours to go back and forth to Nanfang'ao. Shen Zhaoliang once spent 6 years, regardless of spring, summer, autumn and winter, day and night, morning and evening, going to and from Nanfang'ao no less than 40 times, intensive and in-depth I even spent New Year's Eve in Nanfang'ao, and finally completed my first photo collection "Image.

"STAGE" (stage car/2005-2021) is Shen Zhaoliang's visual grammar, which clearly turns to the contemporary style of creation.

At sunset, large-scale cameras are used to capture the stage cars unfolding in the real environment, presenting the brilliant colors and environmental details of the stage cars, with a total of more than 100 works.

When he took "STAGE" to the world, the colorful and rich connotation often made Taiwan's unique stage car common people's culture attract international attention. Since 2009, he has been invited to exhibit around the world, including the United States, Canada, France, Britain, Exhibited in art museums, biennials and photography festivals in Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Peru, Brazil, Guatemala, Argentina, Russia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Cambodia and China, etc. Across more than 50 cities in 25 countries, it can be called the light of an alternative Taiwan.

The exhibition is scheduled to hold an opening press conference at 5:30 p.m. on January 13.
