[Reporter Wu Junfeng/Tainan Report] Chimei Museum’s popular top-notch violin music feast is coming again. "The Magnificent and Splendid Music of England" will be performed twice in a row on February 11 and 12 in Taipei, Tainan and other places, gathering 9 violins England's famous violin of the century, together with the famous Stradivari violin recognized as the best sound, will use the oldest string quartet in Britain to reproduce the performance of baroque music 300 years ago, allowing music fans to feel the music from Stuart The magnificent piano sound from Arter to Windsor Dynasty can be said to be the first time in Taiwan's history, a rare opportunity.

It is worth mentioning that this year, in addition to the performance in Tainan, the museum also moved to the Eslite Performance Hall in Taipei for the first time to respond to the eager expectations of northern music fans for Chimei's top-notch violin music feast.

In response to the current special exhibition "Faces of the Times: From Shakespeare to Ed Sheeran", this concert takes Britain as the theme and plans the music of "The Magnificent Music of England: From Stuart to the Windsor Dynasty" There will be a selection of 10 famous pianos with a total history of more than 3,000 years to perform together.

Among them, the most famous piano is the only surviving British string quartet, made by Oxford's first luthier William Baker (William Baker, ca.1648-1685). The 4 violins include the earliest British cello with viola.

There is also Britain's first international violinist Mary.

Hall (Marie Hall, 1884-1956) holds the famous Stradivari violin, this violin made in 1709 was once rated as "the most recognized Stradivari violin" by the authoritative violin magazine violin".

CHIMEI's Chief Violin Consultant Zhong Daiting will conduct a guided listening of famous pianos, and the museum also invited former NSO chief teacher Li Yijin to plan the performance repertoire, matching the characteristics of famous pianos and classic British songs of the same period in the chronological arrangement series.

The entire concert will be performed by the "Infinite Principal Quartet" led by Li Yijin and the well-known pianist Weng Chonghua. Through the combination of famous pianos, famous artists and famous songs, the public will experience the classic sound of England's pianos for more than 300 years.
