This is not any kind of impurity, nor will the food become impure by going to your kitchen. 

It is said that no exercise should be done during periods, nor should one play.

But, playing or exercising during periods does not spoil the menstrual flow but helps in reducing the pain. 

If seen, there is no relation between periods or period flow with hair wash, bath and skin care etc.

You can feel free to do your daily chores, this will not affect your periods. 

If there is a lack of oil inside the pickle, if any kind of bacteria goes away or if they are not kept in a dry and clean place then it can get spoiled.

But, touching pickles during periods does not affect it in any way.
