Despite the "Stop" order being issued by the border guards and warning shots being fired into the air, the border violators fled back to the Iranian territory, taking advantage of the thick reeds of the area.

As a result of the border search and operational measures carried out by an unmanned reconnaissance aircraft in the service area,

On the same day at 8:20 p.m. in the service territory of the border outpost located near Birinci Mahmudlu village of Fuzuli district, two unknown persons violated the state border from the Islamic Republic of Iran in the direction of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The border violator, who crossed the state border and entered the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, tried to escape, ignoring the "Stop" command and the warning shot given by the border guards.

The border guard acted according to the instructions and used a weapon to arrest the border violator, and the border violator was wounded in the leg.
