In 2022, Belarusian drivers passed the state technical inspection 1.34 million times, which is 15.8% less than in 2021, when 1.59 million permits were issued, reports "Beltekhaglyadr".

Speaking about the results of 2022, the company reported a decrease in the number of issued permits for the admission of vehicles to participate in road traffic.

At the same time, 82.4% of the total number of permits (1.1 million) fell to individuals.

The number of traffic permits received has been decreasing in Belarus for almost the entire year.

Only in October, activity in obtaining permits increased by 15% to the level of October 2021, a similar situation with even greater growth was observed in November.

One of the reasons for such an increase is that, since October, the lack of technical inspection in Belarus began to be determined by photo-fixation cameras.

The first time the driver of a car with a failed technical inspection receives a warning, the second - a fine of 0.5 of the base amount, the following times - two base amounts each.

From January 1, 2023, the base amount is 37 rubles.
