CHAIRMAN of the Tanzania Women's Union (UWT) Njombe Region Scholastika Kevela, has congratulated President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for removing the ban on the holding of meetings of Political Parties in the country which had been created for a long time.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam Today, Scolastika said Dr. Samia's action shows the wisdom and wisdom he has in leadership and emphasized that in the period of almost two years since he started leading Tanzania, he has wiped the tears of many politicians who were crying for the prevention of the meetings.

"This is the Mother, in fact President Dr. Samia, her leadership has shown a great mark in this country, this action she did will not only give her respect here in Tanzania but all over the world because politics is something that is recognized everywhere" said Scolastika

Earlier speaking to the leaders of various political parties in the Palace of Dar es Salaam, President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has announced the removal of the ban on the holding of the meetings of all political parties saying that it is their constitutional right while asking them to respect the procedures of the law on procedures for the operation of their meetings.

"Your duty is to follow the laws as they say and to follow the rules as they say, but as gentlemen like civilized Tanzanians with reputation in this world, I ask you a lot, we give permission to go and do civilized politics, politics of maturity, let's do politics of building and not tearing down."

said Dr. Samia.

With that, Dr. Samia President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has said that the Government is determined to resolve the process of amending the Constitution in a way that they will agree with other opposition parties.

"There is a need to look at the actual situation right now, how much of what is in there is useful for us and how much is not useful for us, how are we going, the goal is to see that we reach the place we intended," said President Dr. Samia.

He said that any time from now, a special committee will be formed that will advise how to conduct the process, which will involve people from various groups including political and social parties, Tanzanians in International Communities, representatives of the security agencies, they will be in the middle to come up with something that will be of Tanzanians." added President Dr. Samia.

As a result of that action, the Chairman of UWT, Njombe Region, Scolastika Kevela said that he sees Tanzania continuing to gain international reputation due to the way it respects democratic principles, something that is rare in other countries.

In addition to the President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan who was the host, the meeting was also attended by the Vice President of the President Dr. Philip Mpango, Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa, Vice Chairman of the Revolutionary Party (CCM) Bara Abdulrahaman Kinana, CCM Secretary General Godfrey Chongolo .

Along with them, the leaders of the opposition parties who attended the meeting included the Chairman of the Democratic and Development Party (CHADEMA) Freeman Mbowe, the Chairman of the People's Party (CUF) Prof Ibrahim Lipumba, the Chairman of the ACT Wazalendo Party Juma Duni Hajji and the Chief Leader of the party Zitto Kabwe together with the chairmen and general secretaries of about 19 other parties registered in the country.
