The General State Traffic Police Department (BDYPI) appealed to the drivers traveling from the capital to the regions and in the opposite direction regarding the end of the holidays.

The application received from the institution to APA states:

"In the first week of the new year, the sequence of holidays with non-working days on the weekend indicates that in the coming days the intensity of traffic from the capital to the regions and in the opposite direction will increase significantly. It is important for prepared drivers and passengers to follow some recommendations.

Drivers who are preparing for a trip should first of all pay attention to the safety of their vehicles and ensure that not only themselves, but also passengers fasten their seat belts while driving.

It should not be forgotten that strict adherence to the speed regime, overtaking and maneuvering rules, and correct assessment of road and weather conditions are an important condition for safety.

Dear drivers, avoid sitting in the back of the car when you are sleepless and tired.

When traveling a long distance, take a short rest after every 2-3 hours of continuous movement and pay attention to the technical condition of your vehicle.

For this, you can use the conditions created at the stationary posts of the DYP located on the national highways.

In order to reach the apartment safely, we recommend passengers to fulfill their legal duties, to refrain from actions that distract the driver's attention, not to be indifferent to changes in their mood while driving, to violations of the rules, and not to be a participant in the process of illegal passenger transportation.

The Chief State Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs wishes every participant of the movement happiness and a safe road in the new year.
