[Reporter Ling Meixue/Taipei Report] The National Arts Association’s new director and supervisor candidates have been submitted to the Executive Yuan for approval by the Ministry of Culture in accordance with regulations. Today (3) the first board meeting was held, and Lin Qizhen (Xiang Yang) was elected as the chairman by the directors. .

The Ministry of Culture also announced the list of members of the 10th session of directors and supervisors, with a total of 21 directors and 5 supervisors.

According to the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Culture handled the re-election of the 10th National Arts Association’s directors and supervisors in accordance with the regulations, and selected professional fields including literature and publishing, performing arts, visual arts, traditional arts, community building and museums, digital technology and new media art, film and television 11 categories, including music, cultural policy and cultural research, finance and law, etc., and most of them have cross-border expertise; in addition to covering ethnic group representatives, in terms of regional distribution, the proportion of central, southern, and eastern districts has also increased significantly compared with the previous one, in order to achieve cultural balance Development; the gender ratio is also set to reach 40% of either sex as the selection target.

According to statistics, the proportion of directors reappointed in the 10th session was 29%, and the proportion of supervisors was 40%.

As for directors, 43% are women and 57% are men; for supervisors, 60% are women and 40% are men.
