Apple iPhone has not yet supported reverse wireless charging

Many Android flagship phones already have reverse wireless charging, which is a basic function, but the iPhone does not yet support it. A new Apple patent has been exposed, and perhaps the iPhone 15 will have the opportunity to carry it.

Every year, it is rumored that the iPhone will have reverse wireless charging, but they only hear the sound of stairs. This year's new iPhone 14 has not been added, which disappointed many fruit fans.

The iPhone's wireless charging technology has been enabled since the iPhone 8, and the iPhone 12 has been upgraded to Magsafe magnetic suction wireless charging.

Foreign media Patently Apple reported that Apple has obtained a new patent from the US Patent and Trademark Office, involving a new wireless charging system, using dual-mode magnetic technology, the future iPhone can reverse wirelessly charge AirPods, Apple Watch and other accessories.

At present, the wireless charging system on the back of the iPhone is only designed with a large-sized coil, which cannot achieve reverse wireless charging.

Apple stated in the patent document that the efficiency of wireless power transmission depends on the alignment between the transmitter and receiver coils. Through the new design, there is no need to over-consider the alignment problem.

Although Apple's patents may not necessarily come true, you may still be able to expect reverse wireless charging for next year's iPhone 15.
