Camilla and King Charles III attended a celebratory service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on January 1.

The Queen Consort arrived for the service in a long dark coat with a belt at the waist by Max Mara, a style that we think works very well for her figure.

To him, the queen chose high boots, a pillbox hat from Philip Treacy, and in her hands she held her favorite bag from DeMellier London and a bouquet of tulips.

In a similar image, we saw Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, when she and her husband Harry arrived at Cardiff Castle in 2018.

Megan also wore a wool coat then, but from Stella McCartney, its cost is about $1,860.

She teamed the coat with the same bag as Camille from DeMellier London, skinny black trousers and velvet heeled boots.

Markle wrapped a black voluminous scarf around her neck.

We don't know if Camilla's stylists were inspired by the image of the Duchess of Sussex (rather unlikely), but we really liked her first appearance of the new year.
