Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action in the city of Shusha - on the road to Lachin, in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers.

The employee of APA sent to Shusha reports that the participants of the action have been continuing their protest for nineteen days.

The protesters chanting different slogans started the day by singing the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later, the participants of the action continued chanting different slogans.

It should be noted that since December 12, Azerbaijani eco-activists and public representatives have been holding a protest near the post of peacekeepers.

The main demands of the protestors are the arrival of RSC commander Andrey Volkov, the creation of necessary conditions for Azerbaijani specialists to conduct montoring, and the end of environmental terrorism on Azerbaijani lands.
