Nearly 4,800 packages of the medicinal product Ventolin Solution 5 mg/ml nebuliser solution (INN Salbutamol) are available in the warehouses of the Marketing Authorization Holders (MAH) as of December 29, 2022. Over 5,000 vials were delivered on December 23.

In January, it is planned to import 10,000 packages of the medicinal product.

Of the medicinal product Ventolin Inhaler 100 micrograms/metered actuation, pressurized inhalation suspension (INN Salbutamol), as of December 29, nearly 12,500 packages were available in the warehouses of the Public Health Agency, and on December 23, almost 4,000 vials were delivered. 

Regarding the medicinal product Pulmicort 0.25 mg/ml nebuliser suspension (INN Budesonide), 24,600 packages were delivered in December 2022.

In the next year, the planned deliveries are as follows: January – 20 thousand, February – 20 thousand, March – 20 thousand vials.

3,800 packages of the medicinal product Pulmicort Turbuhaler, Inhalation powder, 200 micrograms/dose (INN Budesonide) were delivered in December this year, and deliveries are planned for the first three months of 2023, respectively in January – 3,700. February – 3,600 and March – 3,600 vials.

For the other medicinal product – NovoRapid Penfil Solution for injection, 100 U/ml - 3 ml (INN Insulin aspart) – over 6,300 packages were delivered on December 21, and another 10,000 vials are expected to be delivered in January.

PRU confirms availability of 8,800 packages in warehouses as of December 29, 2022.

The Ministry of Health in Greece has taken measures to deal with drug shortages

Regarding the medicinal product Tresiba Solution for injection, 100 IU/ml - 3 ml (INN Insulin degludec) - on December 16, over 25 thousand packages of the medicinal product were delivered.

In February of next year, deliveries of nearly 17,400 vials are planned, and in March - 11,000. According to data from the Public Health Service, as of December 29, almost 11,000 vials of the medicinal product were available in the warehouses.
