Within the framework of the fight against the legalization of property obtained through crime and the financing of terrorism, a domestic cooperation procedure is defined.

APA reports that this was reflected in the draft law "On the fight against the legalization of property obtained through crime and the financing of terrorism", which was discussed at today's session of the Milli Majlis.

According to the project, the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan participates in the formation of the state policy in the field of combating the legalization of property obtained through crime and the financing of terrorism, studies and summarizes the state of implementation of legislation in this field, and supervises the implementation of state programs.

Ensuring coordination in the fight against the legalization of property obtained through crime, the financing of terrorism, the proliferation and financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the implementation of country-level risk assessment (country risk assessment) in these areas, the preparation of action plans and projects related to the improvement of legislation,

in order to increase the effectiveness of the system of combating the legalization of property obtained through crime and the financing of terrorism, to form cooperation mechanisms between the central executive authority and criminal prosecution bodies, courts and other institutions, by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority, the relevant central executive authorities, a coordination council (Coordinating Council) consisting of representatives of criminal prosecution bodies, supervisory bodies, courts, other state bodies (institutions) and non-governmental organizations will be established.

The working order of the Coordination Council is determined by the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.

The Coordination Council creates working groups in relevant fields and will monitor their activities.

The draft law was voted on and adopted in the third reading.
