Eco-activists and representatives of NGOs are continuing the action in the city of Shusha - on the road to Lachin, in protest against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits, especially the Kizybulag gold and Demirli copper-molybdenum deposits, in the areas under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers.

An employee of APA sent to Shusha reports that bonfires were left in the area where the action took place.

Despite the frosty weather, eco-activists said that they will continue the action tonight.

It should be noted that the protesters demand that the service at all posts where Russian peacekeepers are present should be organized together with the relevant state institutions of Azerbaijan, and the illegal transportation and exploitation of natural resources should be stopped.

The campaign continues from December 12.
