According to People, Prince William now has a new royal role — King Charles has made his son a colonel in the Welsh Guards, matching his new title of Prince of Wales.

The king's wife, Queen Camilla, also got a new role.

Her husband confirmed her in the rank of colonel of the Grenadier Guards, previously this rank was held by Charles' younger brother - Prince Andrew, but after the story with the sex scandal, Queen Elizabeth II deprived him of this rank.
