"I remember the first Christmas at Sandringham so vividly. I call my mum and she's like, 'How are you?' And I'm like, 'Oh my God, it's amazing.

It's like the big family I've always dreamed of.

There was so much energy and fun," recalls the duchess.

Meghan also revealed that she sat next to Harry's grandfather Prince Philip at dinner.

They chatted sweetly.

"Oh, we were chatting and it was so lovely. And I was talking about it and talking about it," Meghan recalls, while Prince Harry added: "Grandad's hard of hearing, I guess he couldn't have heard the whole conversation."

And Megan's like, "Oh, well, I thought it went really well."

The appearance of Meghan Markle in Sandringham was unexpected, because previously unmarried partners were never invited to the palace.

But for Harry and Meghan then they made an exception.

But Kate Middleton in 2010, being the bride of Prince William, did not attend Sandringham and the service in the church of St. Mary Magdalene.

We will remind, this year Meghan and Harry rejected the invitation of King Charles III to spend the holidays in Sandringham.
