The main ingredient of Sutangjing Sustained Medication Tablets 60 mg is "GLICLAZIDE", which is indicated for the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (Type 2) in adults who cannot achieve proper blood sugar control after diet, exercise and weight control.

Fu Shuqing, chief of the quality supervision and management team of the Food and Drug Administration, said that the dissolution test was carried out to simulate the environment of the gastrointestinal tract, and the results did not meet the original declared specifications, which meant that the drug could not fully exert its efficacy, so it had to be recalled.

2 batch numbers and about 390,000 pieces need to be recovered before February 13 next year.

The Food and Drug Administration also reminds that if you have doubts about the medication, you should return to the clinic as soon as possible to discuss with the doctor, prescribe other appropriate drugs, and do not stop the medication arbitrarily.
