The king's coronation will take place on May 6, 2023, which, let's remember, is also the birthday of Meghan and Harry's son, Archie, the grandson of King Charles.

And while official invitations to next year's historic event have yet to be sent out, several authoritative sources have told the Daily Mail that Charles has kindly told his son Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan that they will be welcome guests at the event.

It will be recalled that the last time the couple came to Britain was for the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II in September.

And even earlier, in June 2022, she was present at festive events on the occasion of the platinum anniversary of the queen's reign.

It is also known that King Charles invited the Sussexes to come to Sandringham for Christmas, but they kindly declined this invitation.
