On December 14-17, a tactical-special training was held with the participation of the personnel of the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

According to the information given to APA by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the International Search and Rescue Team (IRTF) of the Ministry of Emergencies has passed the classification of the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and will properly represent our country in international humanitarian operations. Specialists of the Emergency Situations Management Agency of the Republic of Turkey (AFAD) participated in this training, which was organized in order to further increase the readiness to do so.

First, in the administrative building of the Ministry, together with experts from Turkey, a broad exchange of views was held regarding the activities of the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and a number of issues related to future joint actions were touched upon.

Then an event related to preparation for tactical-special training was held at the training ground of the Ministry's Civil Defense troops.

The goals and objectives of the tactical-special training were discussed at the event.

Colonel Alasgar Aliyev, head of the Ministry's International Search and Rescue Team, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, spoke about the issues that must be addressed during international humanitarian operations, and noted that the participation of experts in this training is of particular importance in terms of learning experience.

It was also stated that the tactical-special training this time will be held during the day and night hours.

Then, in the course of the training, presentations were made in order to increase the theoretical knowledge of the personnel, and the questions of the participants were answered.

Then the training was started.

During the training carried out in various natural conditions, measures were taken to prepare the International Search and Rescue Team for the purpose of sending it to the country that has conditionally applied for help in order to participate in international search and rescue measures, to assess the current situation at the scene, and to organize management and interaction.

In addition, during night and day international humanitarian operations, observance of technical safety rules, inculcation of practical habits for life and health protection were also in the focus of attention.

The goals set during the training were achieved.

The tactical-special training of the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was closely monitored by experts from Turkey.

In the end, this tactical-special training organized in order to increase the readiness of the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations to pass the classification of the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) was widely discussed.

Relevant certificates were presented to the persons who participated in the training.
