The preliminary investigation into the criminal case of Saleh Gurbanov, who was accused of brutally murdering his fellow villager in Neftchala, has been completed.
APA reports that the materials collected in the case have been sent to Lankaran Serious Crimes Court for review.
The criminal case will be investigated under the chairmanship of judge Oruj Jalilov.
It should be noted that the incident was recorded in Khilli village of Neftchala district in August of this year.
According to official information, the district prosecutor's office received information about the murder of Sakhavat Aliyev, born in 1957, in the house where he lived.
Based on the conducted investigations, reasonable suspicions were established that the victim's fellow villager, Saleh Gurbanov, born in 1984, intentionally killed Sakhavat Aliyev by inflicting injuries with a cutting tool during a dispute between them on the basis of personal relations.
In connection with the fact, a criminal case was initiated in the Neftchala district prosecutor's office under Article 120.1 (intentional murder) of the Criminal Code.
Saleh Gurbanov was placed under preventive detention by a court decision.
During the investigation, the charges against the accused were aggravated.
He was charged under Article 120.2.4 (murder with special cruelty) of the Criminal Code.
In the information released about the details of the murder, it was stated that Saleh Gurbanov killed the victim with shears intended for shearing sheep.
