The luxurious suite of Maharaja Express train is not less than a palace

Most of us must have traveled by train at some point in our life.

We know and understand the general chaos and panic on the platform, the sound of the train running on the tracks and a slightly longer and tiring journey.

Most people in the country still prefer railways over airways as it is still a cheaper mode of transport.

But this one railway proved it wrong.

Maharaja Express, operated by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), provides luxury train travel experience to passengers on various routes.

According to the official website of Maharaja Express, "Maharaja Express recreates that special experience for its guests. Touring India's most spectacular tourist attractions the opportunity to travel in a one-of-a-kind train served by friendly butlers" In the train, a passenger can choose one of the four routes The Indian Panorama, Treasure of India, The Indian Splendor and The Heritage of India and go on any journey for seven days.

Instagram user Kushagra shared the video of the presidential suite of the train on the platform.

In the opening scene of the video, a man opens the door of the Maharaja Express room.

Internet users describe the space as about the size of a railway coach.

It includes a dining area, bathroom with shower and two master bedrooms.

According to the blogger, its cost is more than 19 lakhs.

The suites include large panoramic windows, according to the official website.

In addition, each passenger carriage has a dedicated butler service, complimentary mini bar, air conditioning and many other amenities including Wi-Fi Internet, live television and DVD players.

The video was shared on November 10 and has since collected 48,00 likes and 3 million views.
