Fellow villagers who stole from a mosque and 10 residential houses were detained in Jalilabad.

According to the information provided by APA's Southern Bureau, the police received information about the theft of 7,000 manat repair and construction tools and electric wires from one of the residential houses located in Alar village of Jalilbad region.

Ojagli village residents Taleh Ahmadov and Kenan Iskenderov, who were suspected of committing the theft, were identified and detained as a result of the operation-search measures carried out by the employees of the Jalilabad RPSH.

With the additional operational measures conducted around those persons, it was determined that they stole household items and repair and construction tools from a total of 10 residential houses and 1 mosque located in separate villages of Jalilabad district and sold them at different addresses.

Some of the stolen items were discovered and taken as material evidence.

T. Ahmadov and K. Isgandarov were placed under arrest by the court's decision.

An investigation is being conducted at the Jalilabad RPSH regarding the facts.
