This photograph of the King and Queen was taken on 3 September 2022 at the Braemar Games, which Queen Elizabeth II loved to attend.

And the shot was taken five days before her death in Balmoral.

The Braemar Games have been celebrated by the British royal family since 1848, when Queen Victoria first attended them.

Queen Elizabeth II also attended the event every year and was always in high spirits when she arrived.

And in 2022, she was unable to attend them for the first time during her 70-year reign.
