In the modern world, carnivals are no longer popular and only children dress up for the New Year, but in the past, many people loved bright and cheerful images for this holiday.

The most popular was a costume in the form of a New Year's tree, most often the outfits were made with their own hands from materials at hand and decorated with garlands and New Year's toys.

Images of Mrs. Santa Claus, elves, kings, and snowflakes were also popular.
