His Majesty looked a little tense and was caught on camera looking nervous as his wife Queen Consort Camilla trailed behind him during the royal walk.

It came during the couple's visit to Wrexham in Wales, where they welcomed members of the public to the town centre.

A video was posted on Twitter of Charles telling his bodyguards to hurry up his wife Camilla.

In the video, the monarch can be heard saying:

"Can we try to get her back. Please. We have to go. I tried to wait for her but she keeps going," says Charles.

"Haha, it's a normal married couple. I think it's cute and interesting."

"I think it's cute and funny, just shows that he's human like the rest of us."

"This is my husband, every day!".

"Kings ... after all, they are the same as all other men."

"I love that they look like any couple. God bless King Charles III and Queen Camilla."

Given these comments, whatever the king's mood, he certainly has the support of his subjects.
