The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is carrying out large-scale social support measures for the family members of our martyrs and war participants in the period after the 44-day Patriotic War, when the Azerbaijan Army achieved a great historical victory under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

APA was informed about this by the Ministry.

Within these measures:

- 114,000 monthly social payments were assigned to 102,000 people, including family members of martyrs and war veterans, and insurance payments were made to 2,800 people;

- Until August 2, 1997, one-time payment was given to 16.7 thousand persons with disabilities due to injuries received in military service;

- From the beginning of 2021, the pensions of the family members of martyrs, those with war-related disabilities, National Heroes, social allowances from the beginning of 2022 have been increased by an average of 60 percent;

- the housing program for the families of martyrs, persons with war-related disabilities was expanded 5 times, and 4,100 apartments and private houses were provided to them, and more than 300 cars were provided to people with war-related disabilities (in total, 13,000 apartments and private houses were provided to those in these categories in the past period , more than 7,500 cars were given to those with war-related disabilities);

- 35,000 social-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11,000 members of martyr families and war participants;

- 1,750 people with war-related disabilities were provided with 29,054 rehabilitation tools, 376 people from this category were provided with 391 high-tech modern prostheses;

- employment of 16.2 thousand people, including members of martyrs' families and war participants, was provided, including 9.3 thousand people were involved in the self-employment program;

- services were provided to 67,600 people, including members of martyrs' families and war participants, in unified coordination centers, etc.

In the post-war period, the mentioned social support package covered a total of 121,000 people, and 257,000 support-oriented services were provided to them.
