Chef Anatoliy Dobrovolska shared an interesting recipe for an ancient Ukrainian dish made from beets.

The chef has added some of his own flavors to the authentic recipe and recommends this dish with meat and various cereals.

Ingredients

boiled beets - 500 g

grated white horseradish - 1 tbsp

apple cider vinegar - 2 tbsp

salt and pepper to taste

sugar - 1/2 tbsp

one tablespoon of chopped greens

one clove of garlic

Cut the beets into medium pieces.

Put the chopped beets in a bowl and add horseradish, vinegar, sugar, salt, herbs and grated garlic.

Mix everything and let it stand for 30 minutes. 

You can add nuts.
