Talking about the results, till now AAP has won 133 seats, BJP 101, Congress 6 and Independents 3 seats.
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi was ruled by the BJP for the last 15 years.
In the last election, BJP got 181 seats.
This time elections were held by combining all the three municipal corporations.
Along with this, the total number of seats was also reduced to 250 by delimitation.
The counting of votes began at 8 am amidst tight security.
Elections were held on December 4 for 250 wards of MCD, in which a total of 1,349 candidates were in the fray.
50.48 percent votes were cast in the election.
