[Reporter Yang Mianjie/Taipei Report] More than 20 collectors were gathered to actively provide works. The special exhibition of calligraphy and painting of a generation of master Zhang Daqian will be exhibited next week in the Wenqi Art Center of Tamkang University. Tamkang University explained that the content of this exhibition is diverse, including Zhang Daqian's various types of works can be regarded as the portrayal of his artistic career throughout his life.

The exhibition period is from the 15th of this month to the 12th of January next year. During the period, academic forums will also be held, and famous artists will be invited to analyze and discuss the characteristics of landscape creation, the world of splashed ink, calligraphy expression, figure painting and the significance of the times.

Zhang Binghuang, curator, famous calligrapher and director of the Wenqi Art Center of Tamkang University, said that this exhibition cooperated with the China Cross-strait Cultural Relics Exchange Promotion Association, and under the active promotion of the chairman of the association, Mr. Wang Shuizhong, more than 20 people were invited. Collectors provided works for exhibition, and the forum invited Huang Huayuan and Liu Jiacheng, professors of the Department of Painting and Calligraphy at National Taiwan University of Arts, and Yuan Jinta and Shen Zhen, artists-in-residence at Tamkang University, to serve as speakers.

Zhang Binghuang pointed out that the main contents of the exhibition are "Ten Thousand Miles of Rivers and Mountains" - various landscapes with splash-ink paintings, "Flower Faces and Dynamics" - works mainly composed of flowers, "Temple Statues" - Avalokitesvara statues, "Huiding and elegant posture" "—Ladies and Characters, "Weather Opening"—All kinds of calligraphy works, "The Breeze Comes"—Fan Zi’s elegant calligraphy and painting works, "Study Offerings"—Mr. Daqian’s own study, etc., the content is brilliant.

Zhang Binghuang also mentioned that the exhibition brings together Zhang Daqian's life's best works with diverse faces, just like a miniature of the history of painting, opening a new chapter in ink painting and fully revealing it.

In particular, it also contains a lot of calligraphy works. From their superb skills, we can get a glimpse of the profound skills that influence paintings from calligraphy. In particular, many of the works are written with famous political figures at that time, which is very rare and has unique significance of the times.
