The winners of the next "Scholarship program" project organized for students studying at the Ganja State Vocational Education Center for Industry and Technology in accordance with the Action plan approved between "AzerGold" Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) and the State Agency for Vocational Education (PTDA) have been determined.

According to the information provided by "AzerGold" to "APA-Economics", the awarding ceremony of the competition winners was held at the Chowdar Integrated Regional Processing Area located in the Dashkasan district of JSC.

Khayyam Farzaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of "AzerGold" CJSC and competition winners participated in the event.

At the awarding ceremony, detailed information about the "Scholarship Program" project was given, and it was pointed out that the project was established to support the training of qualified personnel in the field of mining.

It was reported that "Electrical fitter for service and repair of electrical equipment", "Lathe and milling machine operator", "Chemical analysis laboratory", "Locksmith" who were admitted to the vocational training center from the full secondary education base in the competition for the 2022-2023 academic year - Plumber", "Electric gas welder", "Mining specialist" students took part.

9 students who showed the highest results during the evaluation conducted by the scholarship commission won the "AzerGold" scholarship.

The Deputy Chairman of the Management Board presented the winners with certificates and souvenirs, congratulated the students on winning the "AzerGold" scholarship, and wished them success in their studies and future careers.

It should be noted that for the purpose of supporting the social protection of the winning students in the "Scholarship Program" project organized for the second year in vocational education, a scholarship of 200 AZN per month for a period of 9 months and a total of 1800 AZN was allocated.

Also, the students participating in the project had the opportunity to get production experience at "AzerGold" JSC and build their careers in the mining industry in the future.

It should be noted that in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding concluded between "AzerGold" JSC and PTDA on May 19, 2020 and the approved Action Plan, 4 out of 17 students who successfully completed the "Scholarship Program" project announced last year for the first time are now "AzerGold" He was employed at QSC.
