The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues its activities in the direction of the implementation of its duties, including the protection of the population and territories from natural and man-made emergency situations.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to APA, on the basis of the calls received on the "112" hotline, the relevant agencies of the ministry have conducted 27 fire escapes, 6 cases of being helpless and 1 car accident.

As a result of the emergency measures taken, the fires were quickly extinguished and people's lives were saved.



In total, 8 people, including 4 minors, were rescued by the forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, including 1 person who was trapped in a deformed vehicle as a result of the collision of two passenger cars "Mercedes" and "BA3" in the city of Yevlakh, 12 were killed during the fire. 1 person was evacuated to a safe area, 1 person was poisoned by smoke, 1 person's body was found behind a closed door and handed over to the authorities.
