On December 5, the Minister of Emergencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mohammad Al Blushi.

According to information, minister K. Heydarov warmly greeted the guest and reminded that the relations between Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates are developing on a rising line.

In this context, the minister noted that there are good opportunities for further expansion of the cooperation relations between the relevant institutions of the two countries in the fight against emergency situations, and emphasized that mutual visits and meetings held at various levels give a useful impetus to the development of relations.

The minister then gave the ambassador detailed information about the activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the work done on emergency management, and emphasized the importance of holding joint training and seminars for the purpose of exchanging experience between the relevant institutions of the two countries.

Also, the educational opportunities of the employees of the United Arab Emirates agencies responsible for emergency management at the Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan were also mentioned.

Expressing his gratitude for the cordial meeting, Ambassador Mohammad Al Blushi noted the importance of further expanding the relations of the relevant institutions in the field of emergency management within the existing high-level cooperation relations between the two countries.

The ambassador emphasized the importance of conducting mutual visits at the level of leaders and experts in this direction.

At the meeting, a wide range of opinions were exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
