The ugly sculpture was installed in the same place where the monument to Soviet Marshal Konev used to stand.

The authorities of the city part of Prague-6 dismantled the monument in the spring of 2020, which caused the indignation of the Russian authorities.

"This morning we installed a new statue there.

It's an orc with Putin's face blocking the gas valve.

Why?

To remind everyone that the energy crisis is his fault.

To collect more signatures for our petition to disconnect the Russian embassy from light, heat and water.

And also to congratulate the Armed Forces of Ukraine on tomorrow's holiday (December 6 is a national military holiday in Ukraine - "Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine". -

).

Brothers in arms, there are more people out there rooting for you than you think!

Hold on," said the authors of the "Gift for Putin" project.

The height of the temporary sculpture is 157 centimeters, and the weight is 170 kilograms.

It will stand on the square for one month, after which it will be sold at auction, and the money received will be used to purchase weapons for Ukraine.

The installation of the sculpture is coordinated with the municipal authorities.

Its author is the artist and blacksmith Daniel Dostál.

Initially, the author presented the statue to the Embassy of Ukraine, but it gave the sculpture to the project "Gift for Putin".

The "Gift for Putin" project started as an online store that allows anyone to put cartridges, artillery shells, automatic weapons, night vision devices, mortars, body armor, rockets and even heavy equipment in the cart and pay with a card.

The collected money goes to the account of the Ukrainian embassy in Prague, which, based on the actual needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, purchases the necessary weapons or other military materials.

Last week, activists also launched a petition to cut off the heat, water supply and electricity of the Russian Embassy in Prague, as well as all other Russian-owned buildings, including houses where diplomats live.

Activists want them to experience the conditions in which Ukrainians, who were left without heat and light as a result of Russian missile attacks, are forced to live.

Creative protest actions often take place in the Czech Republic.

Yes, last year activists of the "KaPutin" group brought "naked Putin and Lukashenka" on a golden toilet to the Embassy of Belarus in Prague.

A note with the inscription "Naked killers" was attached to the toilet.

"Lukashenko" was holding a paint-stained hockey stick in his hands, which obviously symbolized blood.

"Putin", with his pants down, waved a golden wand and supported the puppet "Aleksandr Grihoravich", who was sitting on his lap.

According to the authors of the art project, they wanted to draw the attention of the people of the Czech Republic and other countries to Russia and Belarus, which they call the two most despotic regimes on the European continent.

This year, in November, the sculpture was put up for auction.

The initial price is 10,000 euros.

The money will go to a drone for the Ukrainian army.
