The video was donated to the charity Scotty's Little Soldiers and shown at their annual Christmas party.

"Christmas is a time when we miss our loved ones very, very much. And that's normal. But at the same time, you can feel guilty for having fun without your parents," Harry said in the video.

"But I'm here to assure you that our parents always want us to have fun, okay? So don't feel guilty. Have a good time and a merry Christmas," Prince Harry said in the clip.

According to People, the charity was founded in 2010 by Nicky Scott, whose husband, Corporal Lee Scott, died in Afghanistan a year before.

Harry first met her at a party at the palace back in 2017.

The organization offers support to children through education, group activities and gifts, and provides guidance to parents and other caregivers.

The Scotty's organization called such constant support of Prince Harry incredible and noted that there are certain times of the year that can be especially difficult for children.

And they are pleased that Harry understands and supports this.

It will be recalled that Prince Harry himself was 12 years old when his mother, Princess Diana, died in 1997.
