The 22nd edition of the "People's Savings" project of "Khalq" Bank is dedicated to the book "Azerbaijani carpet" by the people's artist Latif Karimov.

APA reports that the presentation of the new edition was held in Baku with the participation of prominent artists, intellectuals and other art representatives.

Speakers at the event noted that the book is a valuable source for researchers of carpet art, and that it is of particular importance in the recognition of Azerbaijani visual art in the modern world.

It was reported that the publication was prepared in Azerbaijani and English languages.

The speakers also talked about the role of the "People's Savings" project in protecting the national heritage.

For information, let us also inform you that Latif Karimov collected 1300 carpet elements from the carpet weaving centers of Azerbaijan during 20 years.

Starting from December 4, an exposition of Latif Karimov's works will be held in the main building of "Khalq" Bank.

It is possible to visit the exhibition on weekdays from 18:00 to 21:00, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00.
