The special exhibition is exhibited in the first special exhibition room of the Prehistoric Museum. The cultural context of the Saisiyat costumes is retrieved through the reproduction of the collection fabrics, and the exhibition field is created with an immersive atmosphere. The entrance image is the most distinctive Saisiyat " Hip bell” installation, creating an interactive art work, presenting the ritual scene of the Saisiyat people; this work invites the weaver girl Feng Shunen to lead the tribe to create together, and uses two different weaving methods to show the weaving skills. The hip bell makes a sound, leading the viewer to gradually enter the dwarf sacrifice field, from the distribution range of the Saisiyat tribe, and the surnames of the tribes as a passage through history, bringing out the ritual culture and costumes, and presenting the life culture of the Saisiyat people step by step.

In addition, the special exhibition uses technology to experience interactive methods, "Saisiyat costume body-sensing interactive game" and "shoulder flag interactive projection" to create an exhibition venue with stories, situations, and interactions to achieve the purpose of communicating with the public and strengthen the experience of the exhibition. The upsurge, integrating the cultural context of the Saisiyat people, and the well-planned exhibition space endow the museum's collection with a brand-new color of unique culture.

The Prehistoric Museum stated that Feng Shunen led the tribe to form a "traditional clothing remake team" in 2014 to invest in the production of traditional clothing, and found the "Saisiyat Short Jacket" during the research and investigation of the museum's collections, and brought it back to the tribe for comparison with old photos , confirmed that it was worn by the elders of the clan during the Dwarf Festival in 1970. Because of its special decoration, the clan nicknamed it "Butterfly Clothes". The collection of cultural relics such as shoulder flags and hip bells, together with traditional clothing accessories borrowed from the tribe, provided a venue for the Saisiyat culture to speak out, conveying the museum's "social responsibility" and "transitional justice" issues.
