Apple has launched the MagSafe magnetic wireless charging technology since the iPhone 12. So far, the MagSafe technology has not changed much. According to the YouTube channel ChargerLAB, the iPhone 14 Pro Max has better MagSafe charging performance than the iPhone 13 Pro Max. .

ChargerLAB compared the iPhone 14 Pro Max with the iPhone 13 Pro Max, tested with the same MagSafe charger, and both softwares were updated to iOS 16. The entire test process was placed in a 25°C incubator.

The actual measurement shows that the iPhone 14 Pro Max can maintain a charging speed of 16W to 19W for a longer time than the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

In addition, after charging the iPhone 13 Pro Max for 44 minutes, the charging speed will drop significantly, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will only drop after 1 hour and 4 minutes.

In terms of charging speed, the iPhone 14 Pro Max with a battery capacity of 4,323mAh can be charged to 100% in 2 hours and 18 minutes, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max with 4,352mAh takes 2 hours and 26 minutes.

In all fairness, the difference between the two is not huge, but the iPhone 14 Pro Max can reach 50% power in a faster time.

ChargerLAB further analyzed that iPhone 14 Pro Max still plays a key role in improving the charging speed and overall stability of MagSafe under the new and better cooling system.
