The Ministry of Culture released information about the screening of the film "Odda - Two Sisters" in Azerbaijan.

In response to APA's inquiry, the Ministry said that according to the current legislation, local and foreign films intended for mass screening in the country are presented to the audience in cinema screening institutions after being registered in the State Register by the Ministry of Culture and provided with a Broadcast license.

Regarding the film "Odda - Two Sisters", we would like to inform you that the said film was not given a broadcast license by the ministry, and the screening of the film was not planned either at the "Nizami" Cinema Center operating under the ministry, or at private cinemas in the country.

As for the screening of the film in a non-cinematic venue, we inform you that the Ministry of Culture is not responsible for solving such issues.

However, the ministry states that it does not consider the screening of the film in a non-cinema profile acceptable," the information stated.

It should be noted that Azerbaijani cinemas refused to broadcast the film "Odda-Iki baçi".

In the film, Rojda Khani, a soldier of the German Bundeswehr, trains Kurdish soldiers in Iraq to fight against ISIS.

But no one knows that he is actually looking for his missing sister Bariva.

Also, in the plot line of the film, the Turkish military is shown as a cruel, bloodthirsty, insidious "potential enemy".
